Safe, legal and rare. This is what the abortion industry tells us they want abortion to be.  The only word that rings true in that statement is legal. Safe and rare, not so much.

If Planned Parenthood wanted abortion to be safe, why do they:

Protest laws to regulate abortion clinics? Planned Parenthood has successfully protested and blocked every bill that has come up suggesting that abortion clinics be inspected for cleanliness and safety. As it stands right now, your dog’s vet clinic is held to a higher standard than an abortion mill.

You would think that after hearing the horror stories of other abortion mills and the filthy conditions they would be more than happy to open their doors to inspections to let all the would-be clients out there know  they run a clean business.

Here are a few examples of “safe” abortion mills:

At Hedd Surgi-Center, inspectors found poor sanitation and infection control, unlicensed and unqualified staff, out of date medications, mold on the breathing tubes, and mouse droppings in the operating room. A revocation agreement barred Hedd from performing any procedures but abortions.

Kermit Gosnell’s  “House of Horrors”.  Equipment was broken, dirty and rusty. The dismembered remains of newborn and nearly-born children were stuffed into jars, bags, milk jugs, and cat food containers. Others shared space in a refrigerator-freezer with employees’ lunches.

July 7, 2012: An ambulance responded to the Feminist Women’s Health Center (FWHC), also known as the Cliff Valley Clinic, in Atlanta, Georgia, at about 10:00 a.m. This is the fourth such incident at this abortion clinic this year.  Ambulances were called to this same clinic in February, March, and April of this year. Shockingly, information obtained from the EMS Dispatch Department for Dekalb County, ambulances were called to FWHC for botched abortion victims five times last year.

Rare?

1.3 Million in the U.S. alone.  43 million worldwide. This is rare?  When I see signs like this one, it doesn’t seem like the pro-choicers holding it want abortion to be “rare”.

Safe? Bah, who cares! They won’t see the woman again after they gut her. If they Botch it, let the ER clean up the mess.  Rare? HA! That would cut into their  profits! Yes, dear readers, they only word that rings true in that sentence is legal. The abortion industry wants to keep it legal so they can keep raking in the cash.

Women. Abortion hurts women.

1. Women who have had an abortion have a 30% higher risk of breast cancer.

“Upon conception, a surge of oestradiol reaches twentyfold
in the first trimester, triggering an explosive growth of breast
tissue, a period when breast cells are most likely to be
affected by carcinogens. When a woman completes her first
full pregnancy, further hormonal changes propel these newly
produced breast cells through a state of differentiation, a
natural maturing process which greatly reduces the risk of
future breast cancer.2
An abrupt, premature termination of a first pregnancy by
abortion arrests this process before the cancer-reducing
evolution of hormone release later in pregnancy can occur,
leaving a large population of dangerously-stimulated breast
tissue cells in place, greatly raising future cancer risk.”

2. Having an abortion can lead to future infertility.

By Infertility I mean problems conceiving and carry a child to term. Women risk contracting Pelvic Inflammatory disease; uterine perforation;  Asherman’s Syndrome; endometrial ossification; endometrial adhesions; and ectopic
pregnancy. Some post-abortive complications are so severe that a hysterectomy must be performed, ending the woman’s chances of ever having a child.

3. Women risk death.

Women who undergo abortion have a death rate 4 times greater than those that give birth to their children. Additionally, the suicide rate for women who gave birth is 6 times lower than those who aborted.

14% of all  deaths from legal abortion are related to anesthesia complications.

Abortion hurts men.

Men are being cheated out of fatherhood by a “woman’s right to choose”.  Telling them that they have no say is wrong and unfair. The woman didn’t magically become pregnant on her own, therefore the decision should not be solely hers to make.

Even men who were part of the decision suffer from post-abortion regret. Again, this isn’t just a “woman thing”. If effects both partners.

Abortion hurts children.

How many children were cheated out of life? How many siblings were cheated out of having a brother or sister?

Abortion hurts society.

Society places a lack of humanity on the unborn by allowing abortion to happen.  It reduces a child to a mere “thing” that can be disposed of like an empty paper cup.

with that lack of humanity placed on the unborn, society has gone the route of seeing less value in any other human life except their own.  Our society has become selfish,  children are being taught that life is cheap. We have taught them that life can be easily taken with little consequence. We have taught them that we are all nothing more than animals, no different that a cat or dog. We’ve taught then to care more about trees and whales than their fellow man.

Abortion; simply put, hurts everyone.

We’ve heard so many times how the Pro-Life movement and the Republican Party are waging a “war on women”.  It’s time to expose who is really waging a “war on women”.

1. Planned Parenthood offers birth control and abortions without parental consent.  A teenager wrote to Planned Parenthood asking about how she can obtain a second-trimester abortion without permission from her parents:

“Is abortion possible after the first trimester? How much does an abortion cost if you are a minor and want to keep the abortion from your parents?? Help!!!”

Planned Parenthood then directs her to this link where she can see if parental consent is required in her state, and also advice on how to skirt those laws. For instance, If I scroll down to my home state of Michigan, it says:  “Your state requires that one of your parents give permission for your abortion. A judge can excuse you from this requirement.” If a minor girl can get a judge to excuse her, she can get an abortion. With all the liberal Pro-Choice judges out there, this wouldn’t be too difficult.

Planned Parenthood has already been exposed for covering up statutory rape assisting minors in obtaining abortions without parental consent. How is covering up rape “Pro-Woman”? Where is the justice for the victim? There is none. Instead, they create another by aborting an innocent child.

2. Planned Parenthood has been exposed for helping women abort baby girls. You can see the first part of Live Action’s 4  part series below.

How is this Pro-Woman? Aborting girls simply because they are girls. Yep, sounds totally Pro-woman to me!

3. Planned Parenthood does not provide accurate information on fetal development, the abortion procedure and risks involved.

PP is the loudest voice when protesting laws that require a woman view an ultrasound before having an abortion. Why do you suppose that is? Could it be because it will expose the lies that they tell women? The lie that “its just a clump of cells” . In one case, the PP representative told a woman that her 7 week old fetus had “no arms, no legs, no head and no brain,” all of course, are false.  Another PP representative told her that there are “heart tones” early on but no “heart beat” until much further on. There is no such medical term as “heart tones.” They just made that one up.

When a woman has an abortion with Planned Parenthood, she doesn’t meet the “doctor” until she is prepped and on the table. No post-abortion care is provided.  They take your money and your baby’s life; after that, your on your own.

Let’s face it. PP does not want to give factual information because it would discourage women from aborting, and that’s PP’s moneymaker.

So I guess lying to women is also Pro-Woman.

4. Planned Parenthood does not offer mamograms. Sure, you can get a manual breast exam, but that’s something your regular physician can do, or you can do it yourself at home.  Lying to women by telling them they will get a complete cancer screening there, but they don’t.

5. Planned Parenthood does not offer Pre-natal or post-natal care. They only want to see you if your are willing to kill your baby, if not, tough rocks.

States that are defunding Planned Parenthood are not waging the war on women. Funds that would have gone to Planned Parenthood would be funneled to local health departments instead, where women would have access to low-cost birth control, mammogram referrals, pap smears and breast exams. Planned Parenthood is not needed for these services.

So you tell me; who is really waging a war on women?

In my daily dealings with the pro-abortion crowd, the same arguments and excuses pop up.  Here they are and why they don’t hold water:

1. My body, my choice!

Well, no, it isn’t your body. Oliver Wendell Holmes once said “The right to swing my fist ends where the other man’s nose begins.” Just as I have no right to strike another person, a woman does not have the right to bring harm to her unborn child.  Science has proven that at the moment of conception a brand new, unique human life is formed, completely separate from the mother. Pro-aborts love that science, but only when it suits them.

2. The fetus is a parasite that has no right to use my body against my will!

Against your will? Did you willingly engage in intercourse? Unless you are completely brain dead, you know that sexual intercourse could result in pregnancy, whether you are using birth control or not. If you willingly have sex, you are consenting to the possibility of pregnancy.  Parasite? Um, no. a parasite will cause harm or disease to their host.   Examples of parasites are tapeworms, flukes, lice, ticks, etc. A human fetus does not cause harm or disease. Yes a fetus draws his/her nourishment from the mother, but not to the  detriment of the mother. Pregnancy actually benefits the mother. All those extra hormones have an effect on the mother’s well-being, some even improve mom’s health during and after pregnancy.

3. It’s just a clump of cells!!

So is your brain, should you remove it?  We are all “just a clump of cells”. But for argument’s sake, most women discover they are pregnant between 4 and 7 weeks gestation. Now unless she’s so cold-hearted that she runs to the nearest abortion facility the minute the stick turns blue, more than likely some time will pass before she makes the decision to abort her child. 90% of abortions are performed in the first trimester, up to 12 weeks gestation. So let’s say she finds out she’s pregnant at week 7, and takes another 2 weeks to decide. That puts the fetus at 9 weeks gestation. Here is what a 9 week “clump of cells” looks like:

4. Abortion is needed for cases of rape or incest, or if the mother’s health is in danger.

Needed? 1% of all abortions occur because of rape or incest; 6% of abortions occur because of potential health problems regarding either the mother or child, and 93% of all abortions occur for social reasons (i.e. the child is unwanted or inconvenient).93% are done for the sake of convenience. 1% for rape and incest. As for the 6% that are done in the cases of a mother’s or the child’s health: 1, Every child deserves a chance at life. You can read stories about children who lived despite the dire predictions of medical professionals that they would not. 2. If the mother’s life is in danger, and all other medical treatments have failed, then yes, her life should be preserved. Abortion does not need to be the answer. In the case of an ectopic pregnancy, the fallopian tube can be removed with the fetus still intact, allowing the child to die a natural death. If the mother’s womb is diseased with cancer, remove the uterus with the fetus intact and again allow for a natural death. A child does not have to be dismembered in a violent manner in order to save the mother’s life.

5. There are too many unwanted children!

Let’s get this straight, there are no unwanted children. According to childwelfare.gov, in 2002 (the latest stats available) 18.5 million women considered adoption, while 2.6 million took concrete steps toward adoption.  according to the CDC,   854,122 abortions were performed that same year.  Enough said.

6. The world is overpopulated!!!

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I started this as an extension of a facebook page I used to run. I say “used to” because I was harassed so severely on facebook by some pretty aggressive and vile pro-aborts ( one being my own sister-in-law) that I decided it was best to leave. Not only did they attack me, but they also harassed my then 14-year-old daughter, lifting pictures from her page and ridiculing her as well. So from now on I will be posting my thoughts and links to Pro-Life articles here, stay tuned!

So let me run through some of the accusations against me and let you know if they are true or false:

1. I have 3 retarded children. FALSE

I have 3 daughters. The oldest is 15 and has Asperger Syndrome.  The other two are 5 year old  identical twins with Autism. This does not make them retarded. All 3 are highly intelligent. The only problems that the Asperger’s causes are some difficulties with social skills. My oldest tends to be quite blunt, sometimes coming across as rude even though she never means to be. Autism is the same. My little ones have trouble with social skills with a communication delay mixed in. They have known their letters and numbers since they were 3, they can read and follow instructions. They only thing they cannot do is talk to me in a complete sentence.

2. I live in filth. FALSE

I have 3 kids! The twins require constant attention. So my dishes don’t always get done in a timely manner and folding laundry is darn near impossible. (They love to pull apart the piles of folded clothes and put on a fashion show!) My house may sometimes look like a toy store exploded in it, but it is by no means filthy.

3. My husband works two jobs. TRUE

Yes, my husband has 2 jobs, but not for the reasons stated.  He does not “work his fingers to the bone so I can sit on my fat a** and eat Twinkies.”  If you want to call picking up an extra 12 hours a week with a part-time job “working his fingers to the bone” that’s your opinion. He works the second job willingly so I can stay home and take care of our girls. In this rotten economy everyone can use a little extra cash. Having an awesome employee discount is a bonus!

4.  I was an unwed mother. TRUE

    My oldest daughter is 15. I’ve been happily married to her father for 14 1/2 years. Enough said.

5.  I cuss people out on facebook. FALSE

I can’t really cuss anyone out if I’m not there can I?  I don’t use foul language in the presence of others, face to face or on a webpage. ( I have been known to mutter one under my breath when I stub my toe or slam my finger in a door.)

There are probably more, but those are the highlights. You want to know what the saddest part of all this is? All the above points were supplied to my harassers by my sister-in-law.  I posted something on my page about liberals that she took offense to. Fine, no biggie. Then posts by her started appearing making snide remarks about mine. Fine. No biggie. THEN she attacks my faith. This is a biggie. So I just decided that enough was enough and I removed her as a friend. This apparently is the crime of the century and therefore I must pay.
