One of the things that pro-aborts like to throw in a pro-lifer’s face is “You only care about the fetus, once its born you could care less!”
One of my favorite organizations is the Abolitionist Society of Oklahoma. Just this past month they held their “Second Annual Yard Sale For Heroic Women.” The money raised at this sale went to charities that help heroic women who are giving life to their children despite financial difficulties. You can read all about the sale here.
Pregnant Help Now is a great resource for women facing an unplanned pregnancy. On the page a mother can find links to resources for pregnancy help, financial aid, adoption, housing assistance, etc.
Two organizations that I have worked with in the past are Project Linus and Warm Up America! Project Linus provides hand-made blankets to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. The blankets provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to the children. blankets are created by volunteer “blanketeers” Warm Up America! provides hand knitted and crocheted afghans that are also created by volunteers and donated to local homeless shelters.
My Church hosts a Baby Shower each year, where parishioners donate new baby items that are distributed to mothers in need.
Here is just a small sampling of the Catholic and Christian charities that focus on children:
The list can go on and on, but you get the picture. By the way, I complied this list by doing a web search for ‘catholic and Christian children’s charities’. When I did the same for “Atheist Children’s charities’, I got zip. What popped up was a list of Christian charities again.
Not that I’m knocking all atheists. There are several atheist Pro-life groups out there. Its just that the trolls that I have dealt with in the past were all atheists, yet claim they cared more about born people than a Christian Pro-lifer ever would.
Not true. In fact, I think I just proved the opposite to be true.
Stay tuned for the next post. “The Stupidest Pro-Choice Signs Ever”
Until then, God Bless.
